Linda French attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Over time, her work, which explodes with color and joy, has evolved from realistic to abstract. She credits Matisse, Van Gogh and O'Keeffe as major influences. "When I begin to paint, I let it flow and then commit to what it is that I am going to 'say.' This style of painting - letting the magic happen - excites me and keeps my passion for painting alive."

A native of Houston, Texas, Linda currently lives in Evergreen, Colorado but frequently visits her second home in South Pasadena, California. "I love coming back to Southern California to paint and to connect with friends and collectors who live here," she says.

For the past sixteen years Linda has been represented by galleries in her home state of Colorado in Denver, Evergreen and Vail, and in other cities such as Honolulu, Laguna Beach and Palm Springs. Currently, Linda is represented in Colorado by Evergreen Fine Art in Evergreen, Colorado and in Southern California by DanielakArt in Pasadena, California.
